Terms of use
Effective 15 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-15
The rules for using Coached Days, written to be read. The most important parts: be kind in the community (we have zero tolerance for abuse), coaching is not medical advice, and purchases are handled by Apple or Google.
Draft — not yet reviewed by a lawyer. This text may change before Coached Days launches. It describes how we intend to work and is not legal advice.
1.About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and [PUBLISHER NAME] (“we”, “us”), the publisher of Coached Days. They apply to the Coached Days phone app and this website (together, the “service”).
By creating an account you accept these terms. The app records which version you accepted. Please also read our privacy policy, which explains how we handle your data.
2.What Coached Days is
Coached Days is a platform where independent coaches publish programs and run communities, and members follow them. Programs open one day at a time and can include videos, audio, texts, downloads and journal prompts. We provide the app and the tools; each coach provides their own programs and looks after their own community.
3.Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- Give accurate information and keep your password to yourself. An account is for one person.
- You are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
- Your display name is visible to the other members and the team of each coach you join, so don't use one that breaks the community rules.
4.Community rules: zero tolerance
Communities on Coached Days are meant to be safe, supportive places. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not post, comment, or use your display name to share anything that:
- harasses, bullies, threatens or intimidates anyone;
- attacks people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or any similar characteristic;
- is sexually explicit, pornographic, or sexualises anyone; anything involving minors is reported to the authorities;
- shows or encourages violence, self-harm, suicide or eating disorders;
- is illegal, or promotes illegal activity, dangerous drugs or weapons;
- gives medical advice that could put someone at risk, such as telling them to stop a treatment;
- shares someone else's private information or images without their permission;
- impersonates someone or misleads people about who you are;
- is spam, advertising, a scam or a chain message;
- infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights, including sharing paid program content outside the app.
You must also not try to break, overload or get around the security of the service, or collect other users' data.
5.Reporting and blocking
Every post and comment has a Report and a Block option in its menu.
- Report sends the content to the coach's moderators. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
- Block means you and that person no longer see each other's posts and comments.
- You can also report content or a user to us at support@coacheddays.com, for example if a coach doesn't act.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
6.Moderation and removal
Each coach and their team moderate their community and act on reports within 24 hours. We can step in on any community. When content breaks these terms, a moderator or we may:
- remove the content;
- remove the person from that coach's community;
- suspend or close their Coached Days account.
Because of our zero-tolerance policy, a single serious violation can lead to removal without warning. People who are removed may not create a new account to get back in. If you think a decision was a mistake, email support@coacheddays.com and we'll take another look.
7.Your content
You keep ownership of what you write. By posting in a community, you let us store it and show it to that coach's members and team, only to run the service. This permission ends when the content is deleted.
Your journal is private: only you can read it. You are responsible for what you post, and you must have the right to share it.
8.Coaches and their content
Coaches apply on our website and are approved by us before they can publish. Coaches are independent; they are not our employees or agents.
- Coaches are responsible for the content they publish: that it is accurate, lawful, safe, and that they hold the rights to it, including music, images and other people appearing in it.
- Coaches must describe their qualifications honestly.
- Coaches and their teams must moderate their community under these rules and act on reports within 24 hours.
- Coaches may only use members' data inside Coached Days, to run their programs and community.
We provide the tools and don't check every program before it's published. We remove content that breaks these terms or the law when we become aware of it. Additional terms for coaches, for example about paid programs and payouts, will be agreed separately.
9.Your health and wellbeing
Coaching is not medical, psychological or therapeutic advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a doctor, therapist or other qualified professional. Programs are for general wellbeing and personal growth.
- Check with a doctor before starting exercise, breathwork or diet changes, especially if you have a health condition or are pregnant.
- Stop any practice that causes pain, dizziness or distress.
- If you are struggling with your mental health, please reach out to a professional. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line.
10.Paid content and purchases
Some programs may require payment. Paid programs are coming soon. When they launch, purchases inside the app are made through Apple's App Store or Google Play in-app purchase, using your store account.
- The price is shown before you buy. Apple or Google charge you and may add local taxes.
- Billing, renewals, cancellations and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their terms. We can't issue refunds ourselves. See the support page for how to ask for one.
- If you buy a subscription, cancel it in your store account settings. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel it.
- A purchase gives you personal access to that content in Coached Days, for your own non-commercial use.
- Use “Restore purchases” in the app to get your purchases back on a new device.
11.Intellectual property
The Coached Days app, website, name and design belong to us. Programs and their videos, audio and texts belong to the coach who published them. You may use them for your own personal practice. You may not copy, record, download outside the app, share or sell them without the owner's permission.
12.Ending your account
You can stop using Coached Days at any time and delete your account in the app (Me tab, then Delete account). This deletes your account and personal data, including your community posts and comments, as described in our privacy policy.
We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect other users. If we stop offering Coached Days, we'll give you reasonable notice where we can.
13.Disclaimers
We work hard to keep Coached Days running well, but we provide it “as is” and can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. Programs are created by coaches, and we don't guarantee any particular result from following them. This does not affect rights you have by law as a consumer.
14.Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or data, or for content published by coaches or other users. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Coached Days in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
15.Apple and Google
If you got the app from Apple's App Store or Google Play:
- These terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google. We, not they, are responsible for the app and its content.
- Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
- If the app fails to meet a warranty that applies, you can notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); beyond that, Apple has no warranty obligation for the app.
- Apple is not responsible for claims relating to the app, such as product liability, legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection, or intellectual property claims. We are responsible for handling them.
- You confirm that you are not in a country under a US government embargo and not on a US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
- The store's own terms of use also apply to your use of the store.
16.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Coached Days grows, for example when paid programs launch. Each version has a new version number. We'll tell you in the app before important changes take effect and, where needed, ask you to accept the new version. If you don't agree, you can delete your account.
17.Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of [COUNTRY / GOVERNING LAW]. If you live in the EU or another country with mandatory consumer protections, you keep them, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live.
